Roles within Ravello IT
Within Ravello IT there are a wide range of roles available which all revolve around core principles, however are slightly different due to the area of focus for the particular role, i.e. all roles involve more or less the same activities, however to what degree you are involved in these activities will depend on the role and the strengths of the individual. The job titles are Researcher/ Junior Consultant, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Account Manager and Business Developer. Broadly speaking these roles revolve around generic activities.
The role(s) is broadly to:
- Identify, develop and manage client business/relationships in a competitive environment.
- Assess and respond to the needs of each particular client or assignment.
- Attract candidates and maintain the candidate database.
- Offer consultative CV and interview advice to candidates.
- Source suitable candidates (either from the database or specific advertising campaign) and brief them on the opportunities offered by the client.
- Manage the recruitment process through interview to offer stage and beyond.
This will involve:
- Promoting the services of Ravello IT and yourself to clients, initially by telephone and then potentially by way of a formal meeting.
- Interviewing candidates, on a general basis, either face to face or over the telephone for a specific requirement or to ensure we are briefed on the candidate’s specific requirements.
- Presenting suitable candidates by way of detailed CV’s.
- Ensuring peripheral arrangements such as interview times, dates, job descriptions etc are in place and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Forging long term relationships resulting in repeat business referral and client/candidate loyalty.
- Providing a professional and consultative service to both clients and candidates based on your market and commercial awareness.
- Working as an integral part of a team focusing on the broader day to day issues of business development, effective communication, systems and procedures, training and contributing to the financial success of the team.
- Identifying other potential recruitment consultants to join the business.
- Making maximum use of your time to achieve your individual and business potential through activity, energy, persistence, drive and motivation.
Training and Development
Ravello IT prides itself on its training program, which has been put together with some of the most successful people in the world of sales. It is a tried and tested method of making good Recruitment Consultants into great ones. It gives all consultants a logical method of recruitment, which is prevalent throughout our environment. The theory behind this is when a new person joins Ravello and undertakes training, they can seek help and advice from their colleagues, with the answer to their questions being the same whoever they ask, hence best practice, or… the ‘Ravello way’.
Each consultant is provided with a Personal Development Plan, which encourages them to take responsibility for their own tailor-made training and career development. High levels of ongoing informal training are encouraged and provided by Managers and Directors. In addition, formal training courses are available, as follows:
Induction Training:
Half day general induction, covering Company structure, values and history; Customer Service expectations, disciplinary, discrimination and other personnel/legal obligations; data protection responsibilities, internal communication and general housekeeping.
Core Skills Training and detailed Induction Course:
This is provided to all joining employees, regardless of background. This is a day long overview of our logical Recruitment Process, which gives the basics to the structured approach we use, and the components that make up this structure.
Workshop Training
These are the components of our Recruitment process broken down into manageable chunks, in order to cement learning and overcome any areas of improvement required.
Advanced Core Skills
This is available to experienced consultants in 2/3 hour interactive sessions covering a range of topics including presentation skills, coaching, providing solutions, Account Management, Business Development etc.
Management/ Team Leadership Development
A mentoring scheme is currently under development for potential managers and Team leaders.
